housekeeping

I am tidying up my blog and you might notice some changes.  For example, I re-titled the followers area to remind you, the reader, that you can follow, or subscribe.  I don't track those numbers and I considered removing the followers link but I do meet new people and new blogs that way.  I also changed the blog list, and plan to change the listed blogs manually every few weeks in a rotation.

Other changes are small, and really cleaned up the margins.  I want to go into fall with a clean slate.

  2. I didn't have that Followers thing in my sidebar for a long long time either, because I worried about looking wannabe, you know? Then the "follow" option at the very top of the screen disappeared in the new-look Blogger and I realised I didn't know how to follow my favourite blogs any more if they DIDN'T have the gadget in THEIR sidebar,so i finally added one too :)

  5. It looks so fresh and spring-like here! But I'll keep visiting even if your house gets messy ;)

It took me forever to figure out how to subscribe if someone didn't have the followers option - I really thought blogs w/o listed followers didn't want any! So I'm leaving mine up, if for no reason other than maybe there are others out there who are as slow as I am...... Plus I still have no idea how to decipher how many subscribers I might have. I guess I'll have someone show me if it ever becomes important enough.....

    1. This is easy Lynne, it is when I have to tackle my real house that things get a bit more difficult.

  9. I love your words. But only 1/3 of your horizontal space is given over to them...
