This shot was taken in Catalina State Park outside Tucson, AZ this winter. Don't ask any technical details as I have no idea why the trees are yellow. We had spent the day in the Biosphere, and emerged through the airlock to a raging rainstorm. We drove back to camp and were greeted by this otherwordly view.
And now here at home I am still waiting for sunny and warn weather. Yesterday a friend and I drove over the mountain to Cave Junction in the snow, using 4 wheel drive. It's May, for heaven's sake! Enough!
So, while I wait, wearing my winter duds, I dream of summer flowers and frocks.
